Seattle Monday Night Pinball

Seattle Monday Night Pinball

Overview

The Seattle Monday Night Pinball (MNP) is a friendly competitive pinball bar league in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan Area that aims to build interest in the hobby and encourage players and their teams to grow together. The league consists of 36 teams spread out over 20 venues, where each venue hosts one, two or three teams. Each team fields 10 players weekly, thus there are 360 players competing weekly across 18 matches. A pool of over 180 Subs allows every team to field a full 10 players, even when one or more of their regular roster members are absent during a league night. Anyone can become a sub! Membership is only $1 per player per season; Substitutes can participate at no cost. Players are responsible for paying for their own pinball games on league night.

Prospective players and anyone interested in being a sub for one or more weeks, check out the New Players page for more information.

Fall 2026 Season

The Seattle Monday Night Pinball league is already the largest team league in the world ... and it's growing AGAIN! Up to 38 teams and 380 players every week! In Fall 2026, we welcome two new expansion teams at two new venues:

  • Drunken Dumplings, at Rickshaw Restaurant and Lounge in Greenwood
  • Zoo Crew, at Zoo Tavern in Eastlake

  • We also have some returning teams with new names and/or venues:

  • Little League All Stars are moving to Houndstooth, and changing names to No Quarters Given
  • Ramp Tramps are moving to Olafs
  • Magic Saves are remaining at the same location (formerly Raygun), but that location is under new ownership and now called The Tilted Table.
  • Hellhounds remain at The Kraken, but have renamed their team to Kraken Ball Z.

  • League start time is 8:15pm, although players are encouraged to arrive by 8pm to confirm their attendance that night with their captains, and to get in some practice games. At that time the visiting team is making their picks for Round 1. At 8:20pm, the home team should be responding, so that by 8:30pm all picks are made and players are ready to flip away in their first round games. League night is typically done by no later than 11:30pm, but could go a bit longer if there are technical difficulties or exceptionally long games.

New B Playoff Rules for Fall 2026

The league has always tried to set the playoff threshold at close to 50% of the teams. With the league continuing to grow, we were getting farther away from that with 16 teams making the playoff. This season, playoffs will be expanded to 20 teams, by adjusting how the B Playoff Teams are selected. A Playoffs remain the same, as the top 4 teams from each group, with the exception of what happens if one of those teams is B eligible, as described next.

The new rules are the following.

  • L4.03.1c: A Team is B-Eligible if its average Team IPR is less than 30.0 throughout the season.
  • L4.03.1d: The highest-ranking B-Eligible Team in each Group may advance to the B Playoffs.
  • If that Team also finishes in the top four and is eligible for the A Playoffs, it must choose between the A Playoffs and B Playoffs; it cannot participate in both.
    • If the Team chooses the B Playoffs, the next-highest-ranking Team in the Group (i.e., 5th place) advances to the A Playoffs.
    • If the Team chooses the A Playoffs, the next-highest-ranking B-Eligible Team in the Group advances to the B Playoffs.
    • If the next-highest-ranking B-Eligible Team also qualifies for the A Playoffs, it has the same choice between the A Playoffs and B Playoffs.
  • L4.03.5: The B Semi-Finals will consist of one B-Eligible Team from each Group, as determined by the teams that reach B Playoffs per L4.03.1.
  • L4.03.5a: For the B Semi-Finals, teams will be seeded by lowest average season Team IPR. The Team with the lowest average Team IPR will receive the 1st seed, the second-lowest will receive the 2nd seed, and so on. The matchups will be 1st Seed vs. 4th Seed and 2nd Seed vs. 3rd Seed. The 1st and 2nd Seeds will be the home teams.
  • L4.03.5b: In the B Playoffs, for both B Semi-Finals and B Finals, the Team IPR Cap will be 30. Same rules as during the regular season for needing subs to stay under team cap. If team is above the team cap of 30, then subs must have IPR=1.
